Hey Canoas, Guess what. I caught all 151 pokemon on my yellow when I was about 7 or so. I even got a surfing pikachu. Hell, I even got to Blane's gym in 3 hours because I had a red version that didn't save. I. Am. Hard-poke-core.
EDIT: You did have cheats in Red. It was called Missingno. 256 masterballs FTW!

Those are glitches, not cheats.
I also have 151 pokemons and got a raichu with surf. It would have been on my main party but Zapdos is simply better.
