The AP part of Akali gives her bonus Magic damage on her auto attack. the amount of percent is judged by the AP, but also the amount of magic damage would be nothing without AD.

Aether, you don't seem to grasp the point..
LB deals more damage than TF. That's why you get it.. I'm not advising against getting a Gunblade and a Rageblade or even several Gunblades.

first of all i dont build an AP Akali, so thats the first reason.
The sheen proc is not very powerful from TF, but the TF offers alot of things, like i said in my previous post. LB proc does have a cooldown, and while it offers alot of damage, i think everything that TF offers is much more valuable and efficient.
