Dota 2 is just around the corner, will there be support for it? Another site that we could make builds on? Just like you did with realm of the titans.

The difference between DotA 2 and RotT to the mobafire staff is that mobafire staff has actually been in contact with Aeria games. I'm doubtful that we'll see DotA 2 support apart from a (maybe) sticky thread in Off-Topic with multiple branch threads.

To add on, Matt also stated in an earlier post that there was already a guide format in DOTA2, which is basically a big slap in the face to the fan sites.

Also, Scrax likes men.

^That (besides the men part).

So no, MOBAFire won't support DoTa2.

DoTa's main website :) They'll have guide tools there (or so it's claimed).

Valve tends to keep things pretty tight under wraps. We're watching to see what exactly they do. We basically don't know yet if it will even make sense to do it.

Let's just say for argument, that Valve does their own in-house guide system, tied to replays, in-game rewards, out of game status, etc... Would you guys still use a fan-made dota2 guide/community site on top of that? Or would it just be redundant. That is the question :)

But the average DotA player that doesn't know about our sites, idk.

hard to tell witout seeing it in action tbh.
Usualy the "official" stuff like forums and such isnt the best choice for seeking help (wow? lol? and so on so on)
So all depends on the quality.
The playdota.com guides were ok and ppl accualy used them... so i think it is too early to judge.
Did i help you? Click that +Rep

Thanks to jhoijhoi for the sig!
