Call me a noob, but I max them both at a steady pace.. W - Q - W - Q - W etc. I only invest 1 point in E at level 4... then max it after I finished maxing my Q and W

So after some games, I feel like Empower is the better choice because you are not in the situation to spam your Leap Strike whenever it's on CD, but you do with Empower. The DMG Output is a lot higher this way, a Leap Strike all 12 seconds is far enough.

The pro's of maxing Leap Strike are:
-Lower cooldown
-More escapes
-Better chasing
Pro's of maxing Empower first:
-Greater meele dmg
-Greater overall dmg
I am curious about it, because I see Jaxes who max Leap Strike first and those who max Empower first, but I don't see any really good reason to max empower first, because I feel like the small difference in dmg is worth the survivability you gain thrugh maxing Leap Strike first.
