Yeah the technical explanation is that, in those places I am just stripping out bbcode before I print it. This doesn't strip the contents of the bbcode tags, only the attributes. So if you make the image an attribute (img=...) instead of content (img)...(/img) then the url will get stripped along with the tag.

Not a very sophisticated solution but, I haven't had time to go back and make it better :)

I've had my head down working hard on a few things since I got back, and as a result fell behind on Support forum :) We launched the OP builder last night and now I have a little breathing room!

BTW guys, in the process of fixing the server I overhauled the code that filters bbcode out in places like tooltips/homepage. It should now properly filter out all the urls and such, should look much better now regardless of how you format your url/img/embed tags.
