Well, although I think it's very useful why can't you use it to bump your thread? I don't like quadruple posts but ... Would it prbly be abused or sth?

I think abuse would be the biggest issue and usually bumping isn't as huge of a deal here considering that our forums don't get as much traffic as, say, the LoL forums.

Well, it doesn't show that there's something new I think. That's my problem ;) Not for the bumping part.

I believe tinolas is talking about how when you edit a post in a thread, it doesn't bump it and show orange flames.

That's it. I just don't like it.

PS: It was kind of hard to explain for me because I'm not too great in English.

Do other forums actually do this? I don't think I've ever seen a forum bump topics when they get edited. I think it might kind of just confuse people. It gets bumped, they click in, there are no new replies. They won't realize you edited the OP. It's also easy to abuse somewhat... You can keep bumping repeatedly without it being super obvious.

If you edit your OP, you should be forced to comment to bump it, IMO. That way people know you edited it, you can tell them WHAT you edited, and if you are bumping repeatedly then everyone will know and can report the abuse.

You need to log in before commenting.
