She is not nessesary something new but also not a lux.
She is similar to her but lux focuses on direct hits and she should focus on ball passing by back and forth. Her learning curve is way diferent than lux too XD
1st game with her (unfortunatly had to go double lane) 1/10 2nd game was way way better and i was on mid.
Lux bases on combo. bam-bam-bam than long nothing while she is rather a consistent damage dealer.
Lux is competitive Oriana is more of a "fun" champ.
You can generalize that X is the same as Y on any champ. You can even say that Oriana is same as Xin Zhao... You will always find something similar. This is a MOBA game with over 100 champs? There has to be similarities.

...how is Orianna comparable to Lux in anyway at all? They have completely different play styles. Are you saying they are similar because they both have a slow? Or because they both have a shield? Might as well say Janna Karma and Lee Sin are all the same too if that's your justification.

I mean, the shockwave is damn annoying. Don't see any other champion with such ability so far. So yes i'd say she's new.

trap them-> suck them in-> ashe arrow-> laz3r beam-> trueshot barrage.
I'd be surprised if anyone other than a tank could survive that.
