Especially since Orianna is the SECOND strongest AP Nuker mathematically. Veigar wins first due to AP farm potential and his anti-AP build Ultimate.

Ehrm how there aren't all too many different effects to pick from when making skills (damage, stun, silence, snare, slow, buffing or debuffing stats, map awareness, moving enemy or yourself and a few others I can't think of).
I listed seven effects and there are around 70 champions. It is not too easy to make a completely new mechanic without it potentially being gamebreaking.

I was side-tracking about the amumu -> orianna -> ashe -> lux/ez combo in response to Visfarix.
My oppinion about orianna was stated before that :)

I still don't see the problem, Amumu can buy Abyssal and use his passive to reduce at least one target's MR by over 50.
Lux and Orianna can buy buy Void Staves and eat through any remaining MR.

No, there isn't. Someone just did the calculations for her damage combo with 500 AP.
It's 3200+ before MR, which means the only one capable of exceeding is Veigar.
