I also often wonder why no one thinks about Malady ^^... Probably it's 1) not exactly known, similar to Haunting Guise and 2) It's more of a sustained DPS-option rather than burst

Lots of people think of it, it's in almost all AS/AP builds for her. The problem is, is doesn't really give enough AP to be interesting on her, and building too many AS/AP items makes her way too squishy to be used effectively with the relatively short range on her auto-attack.

My build is awesome:
double Philo stones
Either merc treads or Sorcerers Shoes
then I can go one of 3 ways:
Support:
mana manip -> Soul Shroud
aegis
morellos
varies here, maybe shurelias?
AP:
needlessly large rod -> cap
DFG
varies here to fit situation
Attack Speed:
Funnest build ever!
Malady
Wit's End
Nashor's Tooth
Then I usually sell my philos once I can get a needlessly large rod and grab some AP to finish.

My 6 final items usually are:
Gives high AP and the attack speed with LB let you focus down the other team quickly and gives you a punch in between your spells. Sometimes I alter it depending on the enemy team and what they are building, but the is what I usually focus on.

RoA
Sorc Boots
Nashor's Tooth

i dont know her ap ratio , is she better as a mage or as an AP support ?
AP Support, but AP + CDR is usually enough to classify her as support.
