I like it for the ridiculous amount of spell vamp you get from having it. Just the hextech revolver is enough to allow you to almost never need to go back (because of health issues), and a gunblade isn't needed on her so WotA is the next best option. I s'pose I could just hold onto the revolver, but WotA gives as much AP as a rod of ages now so it seems worth it.

Try last hitting with morgana, or moving faster than a snail's pace; you'll see why people don't paly morgana. Her attack animation is such garbage I don't even try to last hit, instead I just pool and push the lane. She moves so slow I'm sometimes compelled to buy boots of swiftness because I play her on my smurf and I lack MS quints and/or lots of mastery points.

Getting an early philo stone or 2, then a RoA soon after getting an hourglass, will be fine for your mana.

When I play morgana, I typically try and get Ionian boots, and a Shurelya's Reverie as one of my last items, so I get CDR.

That's why the increased spell vamp is so annoying...it's like 50% or something when you get done.

I find that a single early game rushed Archangel's Staff is good enough to keep your mp up (you spam much more earlier). While waiting for measly amounts of gold in base (i.e. less than 20) you can always spam skills on the spot to get more max mp. After Archangel and boots, I rush rabbadon and rylai as my core items.

Hope it helps :)

Hope whatever I say helps! :D

PS : Not all my criticism is good. Most of the time, I just talk like that anyway. So forgive me if you get offended, unless you just can't look from my angle, or at least close enough.
