I noticed that whenever I play, i have an unusually low amount of cs score. Any of the mentors that excel in this could help me?

It's not a matter of mentoring, but one of practice. Go into a custom game with no bots and just work on last hitting. Aim for 100 in 10 minutes. Look at professional players and see how they last hit.

^Yea.

You generally do not want to auto attack unless you WANT to push (mid/late game), but when you want to focus on last hitting, walk around until a minions is low enough to kill, and hit it. Simple as that but takes time to execute well. Also practice harassing the enemy when there are no minions low enough to last hit.

Late game, when you get enough manpower to clear minions waves, or if you are Orianna (:D), just wipe out all of the mofos and reap in the gold.

Thanks to TRUeLM, Plastictree, Scrax, Xiaowiriamu, foggy12, JahGFX, jhoijhoi, msrobinson, JEFFY40HANDS, Nyoike, MissMaw, and me :) for the sigs!

Not a mentor, but Id be willing to sit in a custom game with you. You can practice last hitting alone and then with an "enemy" champion that is also trying to zone you.
Hit my inbox if you want, or go looking through the mentor list if you really want a mentor.

Only once have i ever had anything near 100 at 10 minutes.

I was playing Mordekaiser and grabbing wraiths and wolves, and i had 92 cs @ 10 minutes.

Then i did the math and realised why.

There is only a total of 113 cs possible outside of the jungle at 10 minutes :o

There are only 18 waves of 6 minions (with 5 cannon waves) so that's 18*6=108+5=113.
Tri lane for life.

Even using your aoe spells to snatch the few you can't hit at the same time can help.
Or play characters the depend on last hits, it'll encourage you to do it more.

Jungle creeps are off-limits.

My personal best is with Corki - 93 in 10 minutes, no jungle creeps, no recall.

To be honest, if you can manage 70 CS in 10 minutes with an enemy champion in lane, you're REALLY good. Bigfatjiji, Chauster, and other pro players usually can't manage 70 in 10 minutes unless it's a really passive lane.

I could probably do a lot better with a ranged AD champ, but i was just recreating in game situations, where i would steal enemy wraiths at level 2.

It's w/e tho :P

its all about estimation, you should be able to imagine how much damage you deal to minions and last hit, don't be afraid to use some skills also to improve last hitting and farming in general. When I see a swarm of minions I sometimes use my Xin or miss fortune ultimate for a quick clean up, however dont do this if you play champions with heavy CDs on their ulti's.

Using skills to ensure a last hit is a good technique in improving your farm, keep in mind about mana and if you can really afford using skills to last hit.

If you are playing a new champion, poke a minion that is not being attacked and keep a mental reminder of how much hp the minion lost, this can be done in the form of numeric reminders or visual (seeing how much hp was lost visually).
