Why? So focus the tank, is what you're saying.
RANDUINS OMEN IS ABSOLUTELY CORE AND SHOULD BE BUILT EARLY. The 25% CDR is really good
5% CDR o_O
Can't +1 until you change those glyphs to CDR, or atleast enough CDR to get to 40% and then spell pen.
CDR and spell pen are equal damage (1 spell pen = 1 CDR as far as damage is concerned) and CDR is cheaper on Glyphs(as in there is more of it on glyphs for the same cost as far as slots go).
The build is solid, but remember that if you don't get ALL 20 stacks, the Mejai's is just a waste of a slot.
Morello's Evil Tome is a direct replacement.
Wow, i was really ******ed back then...
Mejai's, your Magic Resist, and the glyphs are the detracting points from this build, but other wise it's pretty good.

"Pro"
So, guinsoos/lichbane makes for a cool endgame. My score was 20/10/20 because I was playing a bit recklessly.
Rylials is a great item and it offers up more survivability on top of good AP and a little CC.
Newer players should without question take Rylais over Mejais. I'll be updating the guide to reflect this very soon, thanks.
I'll have to try out a rageblade tonight, I've been hearing good things about it!
I use flat health quints for a bit of a cushion early on. Flat cooldown glyphs are really sexy on Mordekaiser, especially early. I use those, the health quints, MPen marks, and dodge seals, and it's worked out really well for me. Masteries are obvious.
With this new patch, I've had to tweak my build a little bit. I like to start with a Doran's Shield and a health pot, then build Randuin's and Sorc boots concurrently. Then I go to one of two things. If I need the MR right away (like I keep getting blown up by their Annie or Ryze or something) I'll go right for Abyssal Scepter. If not, I usually buy just the Negatron Cloak anyway, then go for a Rylai's Crystal Scepter. It's everything a Morde could ever want, (excluding CDR and MPen of course) some more health, AP, and some meager form of CC, which is just great for chasing. Then, I build whichever of the above two I didn't the first time around. Now, here's where things get interesting. I've played around in a few practice games with getting a Guinsoo's Rageblade next, and it's actually turned out well. It makes everything hit harder, especially Mace of Spades, and taking down towers is a breeze with it. Yeah, it sounds weird, but Morde's already got a strangely naturally high attack speed and damage, AND he throws spells around like nobody's business, so it's easy to get and keep stacks while you're running around melting faces. After that, I go for a Gunblade, because, well, games will pretty much never get there, and why not. It's got AP, damage, lifesteal, spell vamp, and another slow. Sounds pretty damn good to me.
Sorry for the wall of text.
I don't have any numbers on this, nor have I actually tried it in a real match, but I see no reason why it wouldn't go well. Honestly, I've just been too scared to try normal games with the new Morde, considering I wasn't too great with him in the first place. I'll just have to nut up at some point and go for it, I guess.
The only criticism I have for your guide is the Mejai's. Personally, I don't like snowball items, unless I'm really obviously owning face left and right, because otherwise, they leave you with, basically, a useless item slot. I'm sure it works great for you, because you can post impressive numbers, but for someone who's just starting out with Morde, looking to get some advice, I wouldn't recommend it. Maybe you can put in some kind of disclaimer, or offer an alternative or something?
But otherwise, two thumbs up, all the way.
I played a match recently where I dumped hextech for Zohnyas' Ring and eventually dumped my shoes for a void staff... It was hilarious. This was a ranked match and I Went over 700 ap and was just decimating their team! I snagged a tristana ghost as the enemies finished off baron nashor, hit zohnyas, and scored a tiple kill... I thought I'd penta but our akali dashed in and KS'd two of them with lightning speed.
