Jax has a really large range of uses on the fields of justice
1) Attack speed god
Doran Ring - Tabi - Guinsoo Rageblade/Nashor's Tooth - Hextech Gunblade - Malady - Black Cleaver - Phantom Dancer
2) Normal carry (Aka swap malady and guinsoo/nashor for 2nd PD and Infinity Edge) (Not recomended)
3) AP/Continuous damage
(Replace black cleaver and phantom dancer with lich bane and rabbadon)
1) Attack Speed/Dodge/CDR or Attack speed or AP/Attack speed
(replace attack speed if wanted by MrPen or ArmorPen)
2) ArmorPen/Dodge/Prettymuchanything/ArmorPen
3) MagicPen/Dodge/AP (flat or per level)/Magic Pen
Basically attack speed/Armor Pen would be the best seeing its similar to almost all other carry champs

Lol, everytime I play Jax in ranked I lane against Annie. Annie quickly gives me first blood and I snowball from there. Every. Damn. Time.

Hmm, I use AD runes as well with dodge yellows and flat magic resistance blue.
