You could have a higher normal/ranked Elo and as such be putting him against harder opponents;
as well it could also be a coincidence ^^
sometimes people feel pressured, maybe even subliminally, when playing with people they know; they don't want themselves to look bad in front of that person, and as a result, if they focus too much on not looking bad, they may lose focus from the game, and also being relaxed helps focus too :3
so that could be it also, he might be slightly pressured to not do bad with you, and as a result do bad xD

I dunno that might be it because I kinda get on him when he does dumb ****"WHich happens alot" but last few games we had I didnt say anything about him doing bad.. Like last game he went 0/10/7 as nunu and I didnt say anything the whole game about it.
It just seems like he does dumb things in game but ofcourse I can't see his solo game so I don't know if he still does dumb things and just gets away with it in those because the opponents are not as hard or what.
Its really damn frustrating because the only time I really play is with him and my win lose is negative like 18 games now. His manages to stay posivtive though because of winning solo-q games.

Naw we started around the same time. Think maybe some of the issue is that we are just duo q'ing and going against full 5 man premades? I dunno Its just really frustrating just lost 3 games in a row now. my win losses just keep getting more and more in the negatives..
If you only duo queue you generally get against other soloers/duos in normals, if you duo queue in ranked you only get against other duos and solos.

When he plays without me he seems to do pretty good and wins games but as soon as we play together he just turns around completely and does not do very well.
