It's changed a bit, I believe people are starting to use bloodrazors instead of triforce for that stronger early game..
I think it was madred's for pheo stance udyrs, and tri for tiger stance

Neither TF nor Madred synergize better with any of his skills..
I'd consider TF to be better than Madred most of the time since it helps against kiting, which because Udyr has no range is super effective against him.

I always build Triforce and Wriggle's Lantern when jungling with Udyr. It provides solid benefits but in truth Udyr isn't as strong as he used to be. His bear stance spam to chase and stun someone is a joke, I had a jax kite me around for 30 seconds one game. Still caught him and killed him but I wouldn't have if I didnt have blue buff on me. It's the state of the meta game. Flash is almost required ((Which I'm fine with because I use flash all the time)) but on chase champs like Udyr and even Olaf those champs lack gap closers (Xin Zhou's Audacious Charge, WW Ulti, etc.)) So it is in effect an age of range players. Melee champs without gap closers or solid CC are at a big disadvantage. The other truth is that you can take flash on Olaf or Udyr but ghost synergizes better as well the ghost talent is top tier making it easy to reach for a jungler.
Ok then... Does Phantim Dancer fit into his set anywhere? He needs the speed so he's harder to kite consistantly and the attack speed synergises with Turtle and Phoenix stances too.

Phoenix Udyr didn't get Trinity Force all the time because he was more about sustained DPS and often went a Bloodrazor route, then building offtank afterward (with Locket before it was removed). Now that Tiger Udyr's burst is actually GOOD, Triforce is basically core while you can still opt to go sustained DPS/offtank on Phoenix.
