This seems rock solid, going to test it when I get a chance. +1 and thanks for having a new guide for all the changes to GP. I tried to highest scored guide and for my first ever GP try I went 11-2-15, however I know it was lacking a lot and with what I've read here it answered a lot of the questions I had. I know this will be a solid build

Just tried out your build today. After reading your guide, I tried to keep my mind on farming, rather than harass. I paid off very well. By the time I bought Trinity Force, the team surrendered and I had a beautiful 10-1-14 store. Thanks for making a new build for the revamped GP! +1

@Syarsor; to put it simply, no.

You're going to have 51 armor penetration on your character. Black Cleaver contributes 45 armor reduction for your entire team, adds damage directly onto your auto attacks and Parrrley, and grants you attack speed. It also allows you to deal very respectable damage to tankier targets while still being the squishy-killer that you're made to be.

I would never, ever, ever buy Phantom Dancer on Gangplank. I'm all about dealing consistent damage, not relying on crits.

There's no such thing as "overkill of ArP." :)

To put it in perspective; a late game carry will have 80-90 base armor depending on the champion. You can reduce them to dealing true damage in 3 auto attacks. The difference that last 45 reduction makes is enormous.

With the strength of Gangplank's new passive, I would consider trading Cutlass for Stark's instead of upgrading to Gunblade. Armor reduction is king.

Black cleaver AND youmuu's ghostblade seems like an overkill of ArP to me. Better switch cleaver for a phantom dancer for more crit and atk speed. This way you are still hybrid because of ur items, but faster still in damaging and critting more while still doing hard dmg with magic based skills.

Just want to clarify that this guide IS made with the new passive in mind. Bump my score up so I get to the top of the list for everyone who wants to try the new Gangplank! :)
