Jebus, you said that you would have to take on Red without smite. I say, you don't.
You don't need to smite the golems and if you only used smite once, you will have smite up by the time you get to red anyway.
no with phoenix by the time you get to red buff, if you start it right away, you WILL KILL IT before your smite comes back up. that's how fast phoenix is. that's why you can go to small golems BEFORE red buff, kill double golems, then do red and have your smite up.
tiger, on the other hand, is slow enough that it will have smite up by the time it gets to red buff and doesn't need to skip to double golems
of course with phoenix you could just do red without smite and use it on double golems but that leaves you at lower health and gives you less time on your red.
