I tried out this build because i saw HotshotGG at the gamescom and he plays really amazing.
Unfortunately, with this build i can not feel the OP thing with the spear. But, you deal a lot of dmg with your Cougar. That is really nice to farm and harras people.
Also, the heal is really amazing with this build.
So all together: +1
nidalee does not need ghost she has pounce, i believe she benefits more from exhaust.
find your own nidalee style.
Nidalee needs ghost and flash to do extremely well in Solo Lane and split pshing ... because she has a Pounce does not mean her Skill will garuntee her what you need her to do ....
1. Ghost has a shorter Cooldown then Exhaust
2. Ghost is also down the utility tree, allowing you a free point to maximize its use when you cant for exhaust
3. Exhaust only works on 1 target at a time, while ghost can be used on multiple targets and from greater distance.
4. Exhaust is ment for Melee DPS carries, Nidalee is not to stay in Melee range to long for her lack of Defense and CC, her extreme poking and Support is best from mid to long range ... and last i check you dont get exhaust on Mages to begin with .... i could understand ignite .. but exhaust is useless...
5. Ghost is perfect for tower diving with combo of Flash, also if u split push while ur ghost and flash are up, you can not be killed unless their team blew every global ultimate to CC you down ...
So yes Ghost is way better then exhaust in every possible way, this isnt a certain style .. its common since .... thank you have a nice day
This is actually a pretty great build, i used to do this build lol, but now im trying other stuff, like getting rid of the rageblade for a archangel staff. Because of cougar form, and how none of the moves cost mana, you can just spam them and increase your max mana, which in turn will increase your ap. i enjoy pure ap on nid because i love to heal people lol
Now that I have played alot more pvp with Nidalee, I have revised what I said earlier, as well as I sort of agree with you.
I take the CDr boots now if my team actually needs me to heal, or I am taking the Merc Treads if I get to off heal/dps. And if I am DPS I follow this guide to the letter, or if I am the heals, I replace the Rageblade with Archangel's. If thats the path, I start with doran's ring, then build into the Tear of the goddess fast, then boots. I still love this build, thanks again for posting it!
