I just started playing LoL sometime last week so I'm still very new to the game. I don't have a main seeing as I hardly have enough IP yet to buy multiple champions constantly. I play Fiddlesticks and Sion as of right now (since I bought them) and fumble around with the weekly free champions. For now I primarily play co-op until I get better and master a champion or two that I like. I'm level 10, and primarily enjoy playing ranged AP casters. I'm still getting used to all the AP/AD stuff though, and I do like melee champions, but I suck with them. Big-time, I've only really found some success with Sion and Nasus, but hardly.

As the title states, I just need help in learning the game overall. I want to master a champion and learn the ins and outs of the meta-game; currently I'm far too aggressive, push a lot, farm poorly and tower dive when I shouldn't.. among other things. I just need to get into the right mentality, since I simply die way too much. I just need to settle down, but I still don't know if a tank is right for me.. I like kills and I like to be aggressive, just not to the extreme like I keep doing now.

So, anyone that is willing to help my overall game and teach me all LoL has to offer, I'm all for it. Thanks. :)

Even though it's rough I would suggest playing Normals rather than Co-op. Bots aren't going to teach you much about real play, they are dumb and don't punish you when you mess up. You learn by learning from your mistakes.

Also make sure to check out the general guides section. I made a New Player FAQ which should help you out, and there's other good guides there for learning the game as a whole.

At a low level like you, you will learn most from just playing.

And as Mowen said, play normals.

Thanks to TRUeLM, Plastictree, Scrax, Xiaowiriamu, foggy12, JahGFX, jhoijhoi, msrobinson, JEFFY40HANDS, Nyoike, MissMaw, and me :) for the sigs!

I'll do my best, hopefully I find a champion or role that suits me through that. I did really well with Shen this morning, but I don't like tanks all that much. So, we'll see I guess. theBMB, I'll add you.

Also, there are a lot of "smurfs" at lower levels, these are people who have made a second account in order to play against lower level players. This is why some people get absolutely stomped sometimes XD

Past level 10-15 there aren't so many of these palyers.

I make sigs, PM me if you want one :D (Thanks for the Nidalee sig, The_Nameless_Bard!)
