Red deals more damage. It also slows in AOE, which I don't think yellow does, but don't hold me on that one.

use blue on turrets, it does the most damage out of the three
use red to farm or in team fights when the enemies are clustered together
otherwise, always gold
although actually playing tf, it's not as easy as it seems to pick the right card, it's really easy to miss-click and you're suddenly stuck with the completely wrong card for the situation, I assume it just takes practice to get used to it.
