I think it'd be wonderful if we had the ability to block the sight of one's posts on the forum or in builds/guides. We can block their PM's, let's take it one step further, no?

People coming onto a community site to be antisocial by abusing a block function? I don't see how it could be abused.

how can you abuse it when its only their end? it doesnt remove the post itself from what i think bwong is implying but just remove it from you seeing it.

The moderators now have a "collapse" tool and I suppose you're free to report a post - I don't know exactly how practical this is, though.

It won't work well for the reason that we will probably see a lot more repeat threads than we already do since people may block others; that is what I meant.

If it was as simple to do we'd already have a block function. It would only block that person for you, and their comments would still appear but they would be collapsed so you'd have to click them to see.

However it's not so simple to implement due to the caching system. After a lot of thinking I did come up with a potential solution, I just haven't had time to test it yet.
