LITERALLY because all our money is tied up in Champions Research and Development) Q: ARE YOU SERIOUS? A: Yes....Also an added note, because it was all planned and no one was at risk of losing their information or it being stolen, we are not obligated to reimburse anyone with Riot Points *snickers greedily) Q: Leona is on the horizon, Phreak played with her a bit today so some of us got a brief glimpse of her...And when I say brief I mean brief your stream was blacking out quite a lot....Back to the point; anything you want to say about Leona? Her role or abilities? A: Well you, (our loyal fans), know that we here at Riot love to make new exciting champions that are balanced and fun to play, never broken...Perfect example YORICK, he's so awesome with all his ghouls that do damage, and make him do extra damage...Did we mention he uses ghouls that do damage which in turn make him do more damage? *throat clearing sound* Leona is going to be a Tank/DPS/Support/Nuke/Mage/Stun/Melee/Ranged/Disabler. She's going to do a lot of damage over a short period of time while being able to tank a lot of damage and of course CC the crap out of people (and have low CDs so she can survive in the lane as well as Rumble or Mordekaiser). We feel the term "balanced" refers to a champion being able to do every role they have available to them, EXTREMELY WELL, whilst requiring little to no item build to make them solid laners and of course extremely strong late gamers. Q:Well that was quite "[i]Illuminating[/i]" to say the least *snickers to self at the pun* A: We don't get it *looks as dumbfounded as Phreak when he misses a 4v4 at mid because he's watching someone solofarm* Q: Seriously? A: Was that supposed to be a joke about Lux? Reply: Sure....Moving on.... Q: What are your expectations for the next battery of tournament play? A: AMERUCA FUCK YEAH GONNA SAVE THE MOTHER FUCKING DAY!!!! Q: So you expect TSM or CLG to come to play HARD? A: We're giving them free RP/Skins/Servers/Live Streams/Phreak's and Guinsoo's sloppy seconds...OF COURSE we expect them to win...Because if they don't then we make no money off them, and if we don't make money we can't supply you guys with NEW CHAMPS EVERY 2 WEEKS.....Don't you guys want a steady stream of champs so you're not always playing fan favorites like Annie/Ashe/Soraka/Taric/Malzahar/YORICK/Jarvan/Irelia/Amumu/Nunu/Alistar and so on and so on and so on *eyes glaze over as he loses his train of thought* Q: Sure why not we can roll with that.....Any plans to update your servers so they are less...Crashy? A: No, scheduled maintenance will suffice UNTIL someone legitimately hacks our servers, which NOS didn't because it was allllll planned. *shifty eyes* Q: Sooo does Guinsoo have any big nerfs incoming? A: Of course, he wants to nerf TF's ultimate so it works in range about the size of Ezreal's Arcane Shift. Which is now going to be reduced to the same distance as Vayne's tumble and no longer shoots at the closest target....Consequently Vayne's tumble will now only allow her to roll towards enemy champs specifically the tanks because we feel her survivability is good. We are going to of course nerf Vladimir again because we don't want anyone to play him. And finally the big nerf *whispers* I don't know if I should even tell you guys....Alright here goes: We are nerfing Summoner's Rift we feel it is too big and 5v5 just isn't exciting. So we are making it smaller than Twisted Treeline and making it 1v1, because 1v1 is so popular. Q: Any comment on the state of Riot EU? A: We have a Riot Eww? Reply: NOT EW "E" "U" A: OHHHH EU.....Ummm no comment....We just decided to put them in a basement somewhere with limited ventilation and of course lots of shoes to make.....
