Dealing with sub-optimal laning partners

(as you can tell I enjoy my fair share of Starcraft, too). And don't worry about trying to improve at the speed of light, there's always a learning curve and you're not even playing with a full set of tools (you don't have a rune page and/or masteries yet, not to mention you may/may not be solid with mechanical fundamentals such as last hitting and positioning).[/quote]

[/quote] Both. I don't know, I think having the mindset of improving as fast as possible as efficiently as possible is important. Obviously there are some things you shouldn't be worrying about if your toolset isn't in place yet. You probably shouldn't tell a new player to 2 hatch muta or valkonic, because they just aren't going to be able to do it. But, I mean, you wouldn't tell a new player, "look, you have bad macro and micro, and standard muta>lurker>defiler play is really tough, so just 9 pool every game". Yeah, their skillsets are probably non existent at that point, but you improve the fastest by focusing on that pretty difficult standard play and developing their skillsets around strong play.[/quote]
