You can take a vacation. You are thinking of vacate, which is a verb. but vacation isnt using vacate as a root. It is it's own separate word. Just like how you have horrific and horrible, and terrible and terrific. horrific and horrible both mean bad. but terrible means bad, and terrific means amazing. same root, but it is its own separate word from terrible.
same idea with vacate and vacation.
Your wish is more simple to fulfill and that's to get eaten by one of the locals at where ever you vacation at.

Noun: An extended period of recreation, esp. one spent away from home or in traveling.
