Aparently you have never played the champ, the one and only Akali.
She is not a hybrid, only one skill uses AD scaling (it also uses AP btw too) so that doesnt quantify her as a hybrid. Also that skill (her E) is to energy demanding and is used mainly for farming of squeezing that last hit as a last resort, if youre using that skill regularly in your damage combo you are playing her wrong.
I hate Doran's on her, but for this build, its a must.
Butn Rageblade?
Get this straight, she is not a DPS champion. She wont be autoattacking, spamming skills, to have any decent upkeep of the stacks that make rageblade a good tiem. It is a waste on her.
Akali is a BURST AP assassin, look up any pro guides, videos and you'll see yourself, none of em uses Rageblade or even recommend it. Also they only get that initial 10AD to proc her passive and thats it, they dont buy items to build on it.

i agree the hextech and rage blade are a must for any hybrid. and yea the rest of the build is determined by if you like AP or AD more. clearly i prefer AP lol.

just saying i play akali too and im not over fond of the dorans blade either but if it fits your play style then it works for you and im happy but anyone who thinks rageblade isnt an amazing item for any hybred EXSPECIALLY akali has obviously never played the champ as far as im concerned do what ever you want with the rest of the buil;d but hextech and rage blade are unchangeable facts of akali

@temzilla I've seen this build used by him several times and he generally goes something like 25 and 2. After the tank initiates he jumps in and demolishes the whole team. We also have never failed when ganking at level 4 or 6 as I am the one that solos while he is in the jungle. The build is great and you have no idea what you are talking about. Akali plays well as a hybrid and a rageblade is a good hybrid item. With the boots no one ever runs away. Nothing needs to be rethought as nothing is wrong with it. Stop trashing good ideas.

I agree with dorans blade as a starting item. js. gives health. gives dmg. give a little lifesteal. wont be as squishy which means you can cover lanes for laners who need to recall

Long Sword + Pot or Vampiric Scepter are still better starts.

@temzilla if you had read the entire guide you would have noticed there is a guilde on when to buy the potions, as well as the reasoning behind a dorians blade. please read the whole thing before leaving a comment :)

Lose the boots of swiftness and the Rageblade, and you would do a lot better.

Other than that, you reaaaallly need to change your starting item, Doran's Blade isn't as good as Long Sword + Health Potion, and if you're going to do Jungle Akali, Vampiric Scepter works just as well.

Assuming you're using the proper rune set to have your spell vamp passive @ level 1.

I understand this guide is for Jungle akali, and the final build shouldn't really matter, but your entire build is sort of meh.

Also, you have a Doran's Blade + 4 Health Potions... You want us to wait in base for like 5 minutes before we go jungle?

Not gonna vote till this gets cleaned up, and rethought.
