why? simply put having just 20% CDR on that frozen heart puts you at around 97% uptime on creeping death, which is more damage output than a thornmail is ever going to do

more casts of your ult. and noticably faster Q's and E's

if u have a Frozen heart, when creeping deaths wears off u will have 0.75 seconds left on its CD to recast it. so think about that

also the aura is just benficial to everyone and thornmail is just 100armor..

I'm the one that likes Frozen Heart.

It's better stats for money than froen Heart is, but otherwise, if you don't want cdr (Tip:If you're building tank Morde, 40% cdr is your first goal.) then you should build Zhonya's or Thornmail for your armor item.

I agree with you too temzilla the frozen heart gives you 500 mana and 99 armor I would rather get guardian angel or the thornmail because its too much waisted money for mana and mordekaiser doesnt need mana >.>

Frozen heart over Thornmail any day.. However, I love to grab a Randuin's by starting out with a Heart of Gold and then building into it gradually.

Anyways, -1 for the guide, skill sequence should start out with a Siphon as your closing the distance to your target. Sunfire cape? I think this is a terrible item for morde, he doesn't need the damage for farming and any damage it does to your enemies can easily be negated by just a little bit of magic resist. The armor and health can be gotten from over places for cheaper.

Assuming the passives cost the same amount of gold, then you're not willing to pay 770g for 20% CDR? :/

The mana is basically free, it's not even in the item budget.

For Mordekaiser, other than the slow vs attack speed slow passive, Randuins is WAY more expensive, and less beneficial than Frozen Heart is.

I would get Randuin's Omen over either of those. But still Thornmail over Frozen Heart. Too much wasted gold spent on mana. Not worth it.

Frozen is still better than thornmail for Mordekaiser.

i like it. a few things. you need to check the coding because an early combo is missing the cool Children of the Grave thingy. looks great. mabey the reason i keep seeing these items in off tank items is because they work... you also might want to spell check. still, thumbs up and my vote. and btw... if this wasn't mord i'd kill you for taking Thornmail over Frozen Heart which i might do anyway despite the waste of getting mana. cdr+ their attack speed slowed helps. but great job!
