Explanation: The cold can penetrate the thickest armor. Biting through without teeth. It can figuritively cut us to the bone, as in so cold our bones feel it. Typically when caught out in the cold, the blood shuts off to our extremeties trying to warm our vital organs. If our body can't keep warm we eventually lose consiousness and die. To my knowledge people are fearful of extreme cold.
Not destructive in nature, nor is it kind
Kills all who oppose it in its own time
Spreads throughout all spaces in reach
It cannot be tamed, it's a powerful beast
Explanation: Cold is just cold, it's a part of nature and has no intentions, thus it's not destructive in intent but nor can it be kind. If you stay out in the cold long enough you will die. Cold is the act of warmth disappaiting, thus any warm space may eventually become cold.
The cold is a force of nature and thus cannot be tamed, it can be used, but stick your arm in a cylinder of liquid nitrogen and you'll lost that arm.
Call to arms all and any; what forces you have
They cannot protect you from the weapon it has
No friend to death but also not foe
This thing will follow you, wherever you go
Explanation: No number of people can actually try to "do battle" with cold.
The weapon it poseses is it's affect, if it's cold enough you're not going to be saved by any number of people. Once again cold is a force of nature, it's no friend to death, but at the same time the cold can kill you. You can't really escape the cold, if your source of warmth dies, the cold will get to you eventually.
