I also assume that people are typically selfish and interested in their K/D/A more than the sucess of the team. Additionally I'm not very good with tanks...I'm a better DPS, and it's just how I am....So me being the pro DPS is the best way for me to help my team...Also allows me to feel like I have an impact.
For me it depends how my team looks and how the other team looks. Me as solo Teemo bot VS Garen + Soraka = Lots of Turret dives. Couldn't survive... And that damn SHaco refused to help me... After that I had like 2-10-2 and got blamed like hell. :D

Instead of calling them "noobs" and "idiots" everyone could try to teach them. Becuse they might not have the same easy way as you, and not have the same "easy learning" or stuff.
And why the **** do everyone create smurf accounts and blame bad players there for not playing as a lvl 30? >_<

Every time I play an AP carry I end up tanking with said carry.
