Easier said than done... and even tho it's quite good, i'm fairly sure not everyone will quite enjoy it...
and I must say it hits kinda hard... then again i prolly should've eaten something (was going thro a few hours with no food at all)
Yeah I drank it raw too... good whiskey usually isn't to be "spoiled" with water or other stuff :P

Water doesn't spoil. It enhances taste while reducing strength. Or so I've heard. I don't really notice it tasting more (just a little different), but I can obviously taste the reduction in strength.

Here are 2 new whiskeys I recently tried:
Mackmyra - Swedish whiskey with a complex taste. I'm thinking maybe some kind of maple (syrup?) taste. Kinda sharp. A little smoky.

Provenance - Smoky. Complex and very sharp.

Which one of the mackmyra did you taste? My father is a big collector of mackmyra and there are several diffrent ones, Most of them go for around 4 grand but they also got pretty cheap ones that are sold pretty much anywhere for 100$ or something. I live in the town where they make Mackmyra :D
