about the mana regen, i hate being without mana, because it gets me in the same situation as im on cooldowns. read the first sentence in playing mid chapter.
time is spend dead is minimum, because i know where to position myself.
will of the ancients first purpose if when i have ap heavy team, as i stated.
anyways you seem to be one of the rare people not playing brand with it (if you even play him) abbyssal scepter makes my deaths from the enemy nuker even more minimized, so i have time to heal when im farming.
there is a reason i strengthen up the w and e till level 5. there is no reason to initiate in a fight before you have your full arsenal, and by that i mean the ultimate, and you dont need sear for anything but the stun or a finishing shot with the passive.
as much as i get it when you play brand, you get mummified a lot. (pun inteneded)
and for the "getting flamed a lot", i dont care.
i just wanted to share how i play brand.
Ok starting off : Masteries
Good hands > Perseverence. 8 seconds off death timer is almost always better than regen, which you have pathetic amount. You get less than 1hp/5sec and 2mp/5sec from perseverence at max, why add it?
Expanded mind isn't good. 5% max mana is really bad, seeing that your mana, however high, is not your base mana. So investing in it, 5% of 1k is 200. That doesn't do much.
Item build : Wota. You get nuked down faster than you spellvamp back. Getting some CDR works better.
Skills : Sear at level 4? Its not practical. If you have a chance earlier on to kill, Conflag isn't gonna help as much as Sear.
Yes the root sign looks nice. No, its not practical in LoL. Maxing one skill 1st while taking 1 on the others is usually better.
Explanations :
I've seen situations where me with boots > someone else with Doran blade, boots, etc. Live with it. Better items don't help that much early on unless they have a ton of luck.
Practically every champion can 2 spell/hit KO caster minions.
Basically, bad explanations. This would be better listed as a build. As a guide, you'll get flamed a LOT (Pun intended)
