CTRL + ALT + DELETE, open windows task manager, go to processes.
Or direct shortcut which is CTRL+SHIFT+ESC.
@Dotter: Viruses can slow down your computer, pirated/cracked content can slow down your computer. Defrag your computer, as well as run a scan on your registry (google a program, pretty sure you know how to acquire it). Taskmanager close everything that's unnecessary to run Brink, including explorer.exe. You can start explorer.exe again by "Ny oppgave" (he's Danish so he'll understand), and typing in 'explorer.exe' :)

For some reason CTRL+SHIFT+ESC never works on my laptop, and it stopped working on my old laptop too.
Defragging is definetely a good idea, as is cleaning the registry. I doubt it will change the game from an unplayable state though. Usually things like that will only give like 5 FPS tops.

I have a virus program called Kaspersky, I've heard it's good ^^
I have already cleaned the registry, that didn't really help that much :/
I'm starting to think it's just my computer, but it still seems strange that it runs the game SO bad.
Could be some kind of incompatability between your graphics card and the game. For example, I can't play Homeworld 2 on this laptop because the framerate drops to a crawl when I zoom in. Generally that only happens with older games though, it'd be odd for it to happen with such a new game.
You should try posting on the Brink forums (assuming they have forums).
You need to log in before commenting.
That, I actually knew :p
