EDIT: Remember that, when you are dead, you do no damage. so get some sruvivability will you?

Yep, he is not a clear autoatacker, so bers.greavez and PD is a strange choice.
In my guide i focus on survivability AND burst. CDR bootz work well, but i love to get him dodge runez+dodge build+dodge bootz. Amazing survivability against phys.carries+banshee and GA against magic damagers. This makes his to burst an enemy not 1 time, but much more, including chasing an opponent. So, its not useful to make an autoatacker - cause there are more playable characterz this way. But hes truly one of the best AD-bursters in a game.
Definetely, he is.
Take the likes of Garen, another AD burst champion. Once you have built up enough burst, you have many options for what you want to do, in my case and with the case of many people that choose Garen, I add some tankiness. For me, with Talon, after purchasing the main core to my burst, I personally believe that the PD synergizes so well with BT and IE, that I would rather not go without it. It gives lots of survivability when you consider how much lifesteal you get, especially since everyone will attempt to run from you when you burst, theyre is very little negatives to the Phantom Dancer other than it provides nothing to the INITIAL burst. Also, dodge boots and nimbleness are nice, but on Talon is not necessary. Why do I have beserkers in the build, because that is the perfect situation, which rarely occurs and boots with some form of damage mitigation like the tabis and mercs may fare better.

I don't think you fully understand what people mean by Burst. Yes Burst build are built around doing high burst damage. But no one said you couldn't auto attack. The problem with going for ATS is that it tends to make you stick around on someone rather then burst them down. What you are saying is the ATS helps after you burst in team fights can you can stay there and deal damage. But you will end up being killed anyway cause your sticking around and don't have the def to deal with it unless you build tanky dps.
So why would you waste money on ATS that you can't really use to much. Cause even if you stay in the fight to finish off someone by attacking them. They most likely would only need 2 hits. So why get so much attack speed for someone that will die in 2 hits. Its a waste. Wouldn't you rather in that case just work on cooldowns to burst them down attack and GTFO lol.
What people are saying is Talon is built for burst, so why not build around burst. If you do, you won't end up needing attack speed because 1 hit will be the same a 5 auto attacks.
I think you are theorying too much and should actually give the guide a try.
Sorry my bad, I meant teamfights, his burst should kill most targets, but the the burst attacks many people during a team fight usually for a decent amount of damage. A little AS/Crit helps finish these fights. The build is built with burst as first priority of course.

If that is the case for you then your playing him wrong. Playing smart and knowing when to get into a team fight and get out is key. Talon has many useful ways of doing this. With Some Attack Speed and BloodTh he is able to heal alot of his burst damage, keeping him alive, even with low HP.
Now i'm not saying 100% burst is the way to go. But you want to build for burst and play smart.

Okay, I agree that Triforce can be viable, but not with Frozen Mallet in the build.
Triforce along with all AD items will make his burst extremely strong, BUT he will not be able to finish most fights, where the enemy lives. I will take your reccomendation and perhaps build a second build for this guide focusing on 100% burst.

Don't like this guide. Burst champions do not need phantom dancer.
Getting trinity force is extremely viable on talon, and I have no idea why you don't have it.
This is a noob build for xin, not talon.
