Meh, just don't agree.

Sheen glacial shroud gives you way more and it's way stronger if you rush that, both offensively and defensively.

I've only ever seen Ez Corki and Urgot use Manamune to any effect.

not getting manamune is stronger earlygame but lategame manamune is def one of the strongest items on blitz!

It'll take you 30 minutes of solid autoswinging vs creeps to stack up that passive and without it being stacked, it underperforms for the cost.

In the meantime you could've gone with a Sheen build, farmed better, gotten more kills and assists through the extra burst, and have completed your core by time you're just now finishing your Manamune.

Manamune looks good on paper and nowhere else. Do yourself a favor and learn a Sheen build.

Thanks to Jsta for the sig image.

You've got it completely backwards lol... Manamune is ONLY good for a short time during the midsih late-ish phase. Then it quickly drops back to the useless PoS item it is for most champions.

With the cost of manamune you could have almost finished both Sheen and Glacial shroud, and your build will be stronger mid game for it, your cc output will be higher via CDR, and your damage will not suffer for it.

Your tankiness, superior.

This is a champion I have played a looot of. I've 1v2'd 1800 Elo playes in 3v3 matches with ease, and that's a tribute to the strength of the build I use. I really would recommend taking our advice here and dropping the Manamune. An earlier sheen/Glacial/negatron supports a superior early game, and a Triforce/Frozen Heart/Force of Nature supports a superior mid/end game. At that point you can build a lot of things, but Manamune isn't one of them.

IMPORTANT:

MANAMUNE/ARCHANGELS SHOULD ONLY BE PURCHASED ON MANA HOG CHAMPIONS WHO SPAM SKILLS CONSTANTLY.

Examples: Urgot, Ezreal, Karthus, Corki.

For these champions, who's damage and entire functionality comes from skill spam, and if they run out of mana would be useless, Manamune is worth buying. NOT for the damage, the damage is secondary. Rather, for the skill spamming.

Blitz does NOT fall under this category. Between trinity and Frozen heart, you have more than enough mana to do all the things you need before basing if your conscious of your mana consumption.
