It's simply the skill level of those players being so extraordinary that they more than make up for the character's weaknesses. Where as lower level players simply can't overcome their character's weaknesses. It's one of the reasons why you see Orianna banned at higher elo's, and Xin Zhao being banned at lower elo's. At 500 elo, Xin Zhao can 1v5, at 2300 elo Orianna can 1v5. (She has a lot of counters though, so a lot of people feel she isn't really "OP", just very strong.)[/quote]
