True damage is neither magical nor physical, so you can't count it as either.
True damage is counted as magic damage under statistics.
Even if it wasn't, it can't be counted as physical damage, so Olaf and Vayne do not count as pure AD.
I did not realize

So Riven is the 3rd, not the 5th.
True damage cannot be counted as AD.

Take it up with the wikia crew then, because I think they're mostly referring to the scalings and not the types of damage a character does.
If I go according to their principal, exempting the fact that they also deal "magical true damage", then she is/could be the 5th.

Huh? True damage can't be countered..

Yes. Counted**
Fixed.
@Caladar:
You're using wiki? Hahaha... Oh god, wow... When's the last time I had to deal with wiki... lol
Please understand that anyone can go on wiki and force their opinion so long as they have SOME credible evidence to support their statements.
I could go on there and change all those statements right now if I wanted to, and so long as I explained myself in the discussion, it's highly likely the change would not be contested. Wiki is not a reliable database besides for historical purposes, and even then it can be rather questionable due to the public editing privileges.
Try thinking for yourself.
Look at the statement carefully:
-True damage =/= Physical damage.
-You cannot exempt the fact they deal true damage.
Therefore,
Olaf and Vayne don't count as pure AD/physical damage champions.
I think that's simple enough to accept.

So the fact that they deal mainly physical damage as their main source of threat isn't valued enough to grant them status of (pure) AD Champions?
Anyways, wikia is a good source of information to quickly gain some knownledge about scalings, type of damage, duration, and range a champion has without having to play them through and through. It's helped me counter and deal with plenty of annoying champions, more so then MOBAFire has up until now.
Ehm, I think you quoted it wrong.
That is right!

Got it now? xD.

Any magic or true damage means they're not pure. True damage is counted as unmitigated magic damage.

But I think, Riven doesn't fit into any metagame and that's why she can't be played.
