I have a question, would it be better to have damage per level runes or flat damage runes (like you have)?
Edit: By the look of it, this is one of the smartest build ever compared to the others, should be voted BEST... once we can...
By the way, about runes, I think having damage runes would be better than ArPen.
It comes down to whether you want your runes to support your early game, or your late game. Personally, I think that Riven's early game needs more help, so I go for the flat AD marks+quints, because you need that boost to your shield and early harass as soon as you can get it.
Do i need to remind you that Riven was designed around NOT being a viable Trinity user? her base ad is WAAAYYY to low. Riven (in my personal taste) needs to build 80% ad 20% def, She loves herself some ad. and trinity provides too many stats that Riven do not need such as AP, Attack speed and crit.
Riven is based around her abilities and her passive, that means: crit and attack speed = worthless. it is only worth once you get it around 50-70% and by the time you do that, i will be running around whit 2 bloodthirster and a nice little bunch of def items (like frozen mallet). this also means that items like the infinity edge is better replaced whit a bloodthirster, why? cause its cheaper and provide more damage. remember, her passive scales whit AD as-well.
The point i want to make: Trinity is not bad on her, but its not "unmissable" her base ad is way to low for it to be worth it. other than that, the guide looks... meh. the content is the same like the other 100+ Riven guides launched today.
You can redirect all your rage towards me if you please, but here is a heads up: i dont give a **** (:
Have a good day.

Er...ok? I prefer the other response that was clear, concise, backed up by solid proof, and didn't start by being passive-aggressive. Taking that into account...I actually do do very well without the crutch of TF. Solid guide indeed :) Though you might look into putting in a section on fratmogs. Playing Riven, I've noticed that you're almost always painted red in the enemy's sights for some reason - the survivability helps a LOT.

Neither Mobafire or Leaguecraft has that either...
To all the haters saying you waste procs on Triforce, you don't >.>
You are thinking of the Sheen proc. Triforce is different then Sheen, there is no internal cooldown, you just have to auto attack, then Q, I believe it resets your auto attack timer, and therefor you can still get procs off if you hit them. You should be hitting them anyways to make the most of your passive.
That's....100% misinformation. You're completely wrong.

Really, don't get it. The Sheen-proc only looks nice on paper but the internal cooldown of 2 seconds means that you waste a ton of potential procs.
This guide is sooo good
You are the first Riven guide i have seen that have a great item build (:
You just need to "spice up" the guide itself, such a icons, picture or maybe video.
Other than that, this build is about 90% the same as mine, so keep it up.
