Forget what? I'm afraid I am not understanding your point. If Annie goes mid she suddenly becomes ungankable? Or we should ignore Irelia because she's top lane? Please further explain what you're trying to say.

Roaming may not be viable for the 2K+ ELO, but that's not the case for most of us.

A competent roamer can completely dominate the early game and cripple a team well into the late game. With invisibility, roaming is even more effective - forcing the team to spend money on invis wards and oracle's.

Sorry, but I don't find any facts behind your point, or any reason to NOT play Evelynn, either in lane or as a roamer.

If you're roaming, I recommend you rush some gold/10 items. Boots start is fine - either boots 3 pot or boots, pot, and a ward (recommended). Personally when I played pre-nerf roam Eve, I went straight for Philo Stone into a HoG afterward. Now I'd even consider getting an Avarice Blade early on.

I WOULD have used Wriggles earlier but I wouldn't recommend it now. It slows down your damage too much.

After the triple GP10 (or you can skip HoG), go for Triforce, then finish your Ghostblade. After that you want to invest in tanky items - Banshee's Veil, Randuin's, etc.

The reason that roaming isn't really viable anymore is that top lane is basically populated by ungankable carries while mid lane is populated by AP carries that can and will instantly kill any underleveled roamer as soon as they hit 6. Annie can burst an enemy carry who's on the same level as soon as she hits 6 with her full combo - it'll be child's play on an Evelynn who's 2 levels under.

1. And bot lane is a support like Alistar, try to gank an Alistar^^.

2. As I said, Evelynn needs massive farm and a lvl advantage to be in any way effective. If you roam, you are underleveld and underfarmed, so you can't do anything. You will nearly never get Trinity Force. It is just too expensive. And which lane should Evelynn go? Evelynn can't do anything in a lane.

Roam Eve can actually get gold quite easily IF you gank heavily enough to score kills. Even if you don't, you apply a lot of pressure on lanes and your team should win out late-game as long as you're not completely gimping yourself.

This is why I advocate AD Eve instead of AP. AP Eve is useless unless she gets fed early, and she's much more farm-reliant. AD Eve can afford to get several GP/10 items and doesn't necessarily have to get fed so she can apply more pressure instead of being forced to commit to a kill every time.

I have seen a couple of good Eve's that use AP. IMO i dont think AD or hybrid would work that well with eve just because of the fact that for hybrid u need a ton of farm and as an eve that is pretty hard to get. and AD eve can be countered very easy IMO.

Triforce Eve is very good, you can't insta gib people like you can with AP, but once your cd is down you become much, much more damaging, and your ult is just ossom. If you know how to play her well it's easy to have just as much damage as say Yi or Tryn. I haven't played that much of AD Eve though.

As for AP Eve, no actually, she doesn't need to get fed @Jebus.

You can start with boots + 3, or AP Tome + 1, and as soon as you have enough, b back for Kage's Pick, which you build into DFG. As soon as you get DFG you start instagibbing people, and it's very easy to use. Note as well that using an active on your item doesn't break your stealth too :D

KLP is a good item on Eve, as is Philo Stone and HoG. You can stack all 3 for AP Eve, or just go with KLP and Philo Stone.

I'm smirking at the implications that Ali is not gankable :3

However a full map roam has never been good if you ask me.

IMO, an effective roam is achieved when the champion who roams wards the opponent's nearest buff (Red or blue respectively) and roams between mid lane, jungle, and bot lane, making life difficult for jungle, mid, and bot lane.

Even if you don't land a kill, the simple act of constant harass makes it difficult to jungle and wears on the mid lane. You then return bot lane for EXP and perhaps a bit of farm to get more GP10 items.
