I recently had someone say in chat "Yorick... GG" before the game started. Needless to say the Yorick player was by far not the reason we lost lol.

Usually in really annoying situations, Yorick has lane advantage. A lot of it.
Just ask that Ashe and Caitlyn who were still level 2 when we reached level 6... (Yes that's cause they aren't pros)

I agree about his harass, but disagree about his farming. When I play him this is my skill order. R, E, W, Q. I rank Q at level 4 and leave it alone for a while, but I use it to score a great deal of my last hits since it resets your auto attack. Farming with Yorick can force you to push the lane if your not good at last hitting, but he has the potential to have a great farm.
Personally, once I grab my tear of the goddess I don't worry about wasting mana on harassment. Its easy to zone your opponents away from their farm while you protect yours.

Yorick is pretty underrated, he does a lot of damage while he is off-tanking, summoning ghouls in the process and can revive an allie or himself as well. I have been thinking to made a yorick yungler, he does good ganks, he have ms and slow buffs, not to count that he can heal himself, mading him very usefull in teamfights.
The only thing is... you have to know how to use him very well, but in statistics, he is a good champ

I've been playing Yorick for a while now and have really fallen in love with style of play. His poke and kite combat is absolutely monstrous in any lane. I have played a few Dominion games with him focusing on solo bottom push and gotten some great results. My main question is what exactly has put the community in such a mood about Yorick? If I choose him in normal I almost always get one dodge. I also get a great deal of flack for choosing him in general.
He is a unique champ and I don't understand why people count him out in lategame combat.
