Trinity Force's passive is for ATTACK DAMAGE. Lich Bane's passive is for ABILITY POWER. How could you ever afford all of these items anyway?

Well, i can see that this is slight hybrid. however, when you praise your ult and dismiss the "slight damage" from your q in a mostly ap build, i have to say you're kinda shooting yourself in the foot. have you ever tried ad sion?

Yes I am avare of that, however I still like to buy both Lich Bane and Trinity Force. Lich Bane gives you 100% bonus at mid game while Trinity Force boosts that bonus to 150% at very late game. You could ofc sell and replace Lich Bane when you get Trinity Force, but I myself like to keep it for those extra Ability Power, Mana, Magic resist and Movement speed. (:
