You should try taking in dominion, together with the revive mastery. Even if you lose the top tower, you can get there in about no time, seeing as you get the revive speed buff. That skill can seriously be gamechanging.

You convinced me to buy Riven.

I tried this build even though I didn't have all the runes but it still worked wonderfully. Awesome guide. I never really played Riven till now, and I like her so much more than when I first got her. I was a stick in the mud with Riven, but now..

This is one of the best builds I have ever found, Dominion or otherwise. Btw, love how you wrote this, you helped me learn more about my new favorite champ, and made me lol along the way.

All up to personal preference :) I never found pots to be useful in Dominion, and Prospector's, while admittedly a good item, just doesn't offer all the benefits that Riven needs. I personally like the cdr and mobility early on, which is why I recommend this route.

The second route you mentioned is viable, and occasionally I try it myself if I really want to pack a punch. However, I don't go for Ghostblade asap for the AD, but for the cdr. I like to have all my cdr taken care of right away, so I can be comfortable with my fighting rhythm. Remember that Riven is all about rhythm, and cdr is a great part of that aspect.

Well made guide, but there is one thing I strongly disagree on. Because of how important the initial windmill battle is, starting with Ionians instead of Prospectors + Boots + 2x pots seems like bad a choice. Prospectors is an extremely cost efficient item that you won't have to replace in 95% of dom games, and this setup by far gives you the best shot at winning the first windmill battle.

I also like to get BF Sword into Sanguine right after Brutalizer, even though the 1650 lump sum can be difficult sometimes. The huge chunk of AD you get from the BF helps such a large amount, much more than finishing Ghostblade IMO (Brut to Ghostblade is only +5 AD!)
