Personally I think they should only reduce the ones that people dont play very often and increase the prices of extremely overplayed champs.

The point is to reduce prices on old champions.
It balances out how most champions have been 4800 or 6300 this recent year.
Being less played is not a justification for reducing a price. Raising prices would cause rage.
