i've been using this build for 2 days now , and haven't lost a fight while playing ryze.
i was always in the top 3 , and the enemy team was hating me for me turret use.

I don't know why you're asking me about the Thornmail on this build since it's not in this one and it's in my other build, but I'll be more than happy to answer your question. 1st I don't build Thornmail on Dominion to make it completely obvious to everbody else, but in my regular build that you are referring to I build it when I am facing more than one champ that auto attacks (Tryn, Yi, Jax) or any other heavy AD's. The reason for it is because of the damage that Thornmail kicks back to them when they attack me so they die much easier that way.

Well i agree with your build mostly and i will go and it out on summoner's rift (i got here from your other guide) . There i used to get RoA/Rilay and 6th WolA/Void Staff depending on game but GA looks like a noce choice .


While playing Dominion i must admit i love Ryze here because that malzahar/brand that has easyer way to harass you or push your lane into the tower forcing you to waste overloads on minions won't be a pain in the butt i generally use another build than yours . Notable mentions :
A) I most often get Merc Treads if the enemy team has 4 aps or strong cc , but more often than not i get Ninja Tabi . They help by providing easy armor early and dodge chance against everyone's favorite akali
B) If noone on my team seems to get reveal items (sweeper/lightbringer) and we are against akali i get the hextech sweeper as my first complete item more often before even upgrading boots
C) question : Why get Thornmail as you suggested for SR when you can get the second frozen heart while losing 1 armor from the deal and gaining 500 mana ? I know you do not benefit from the cdr again and thornmail is only 2k gold but is there any other reason
