I've seen Duff play solo top Olaf and its beyond sick. Wrath has seen me play Nidalee and always asks me to be her in games. Yet my Nidalee guide is downvoted by some people who don't think for themselves and just want to follow the herd. /rant My point is that an innovative guide should be welcomed instead of shunned, since it offers a different way of playing a champion.[/quote]

They perform the function very well. But, being gear hungry champions, they're slightly better suited to solo lanes. Olaf for example is 100% gear dependent, he is nothing without gear. Whereas champions like Udyr, Trundle, Amumu, they're less gear dependent and you're still getting what you want out of them with less gear, what you find in the jungle is enough.
