Same can basically be said for any sequel. That's not to say it's always a bad thing. Why change a formula that works? But I get what you're saying. And cod is exceptionally guilty of this. But people buy them, and play them, so clearly they're doing at least some tiny bit of something correctly.

no i mean, if you look at uncharted 3 for example, everything is completely different story and location wise in each one.
i believe it was of mw3 but i've seen a screen where they used the same exact car in mw2 and 3.
and i dont mean a jeep either it is the same destroyed car in 2 different urban settings.

If you take the time to stare at screens you'll find the same marble tiling in building A from MW matches the tiling in building C of Uncharted....

Jeez I could sit and complain about Uncharted because it uses the same guy in all of them. OMG Uncharted 1 and 3 have Drake's name in the title. OMG I'm still ducking behind cover (Like Gears of War). ETC ETC.
How many other locales can there be for a plausible war scenario? We got middle east, Russia, and now we're invaded and fighting back in the third one. Not to mention Europe, oh we were in Puerto Rico for a minute or 2 in MW2.
The whole point of a sequel Caucheka IS TO GIVE US MORE THAN BEFORE. They add a few innovative features in game play, beef up the graphics, make multi-player something of a hybrid of MW1 and MW2. Same with Battlefield minus hybrid thing. IT'S A SHOOTER not meant to make you think. If I wanted to think I'd play Portal...But you don't like that either even though you've never played it.
We're all entitled to our opinions, but nit picking at a genre of game that is meant to beef up the action rather than the story should be taken into account. I work hard for my money and see BF3 as well as CoDMW3 as good investments for my money.
