Plantronics 377 all the way
I've destroyed ALOT of PC headsets and Creative ones are big pile of ****.
Siberia V2 ones are great in terms of headphones but the quality of mic is very poor imho and it transports alot of feedback if close to electrical things or even the headset itself.
Still i would recomend (as a long term user already) Gamescoms 377. The only minus they have is the volume controler on the cable which is quite big, some ppl might find this a problem.
And for sure they are indestructible... also just check how the cord looks like in nearly all PC headphones and how it looks on plantranics one. It realy makes the diference. It lacks a bit of medium tones in terms of listening to music but it is made for games where low and high frequencies are most common, and if you look for audio headphones just go with standard Sennheisers 555 :) (also REALY good for gaming but without mic!)

Also i would suggest avoiding headsets with this type of microphones:
They are the worst you can get. Ofc they are easy to handle, you can move them as you like but the thing is that this is a metal braided mic-cables that is causing all the problems (sooner or later) with the feedback wierd noises or the amount of background murmur.

So I think I'm down to Plantronics Gamecon 377 (36euro) and Steelseries Siberia V2 (55euro).

HD25-II are a professional headset tho, not for gaming but for DJing... I got 'em connected to the mix table so it's a different league (and purpose)
I use the MX 170 headphones @ work and the sound quality is also superb for the price range that the headphones is at...
As I said, I dunno how it goes regarding the headphone/mic combos they have, but i'm guessing the sound quality is good

377 have bigger and more comfortable (does not preasure the ears) earbuds (i can fit almost whole ear inside my 377.
377 mic > siberia one. The classic had mic on a cable... WTF this one has unpluggable one which isnt a good idea imho since more moving parts = bad for me.
Sound quality more or less the same. Siberia has slightly better middle tones but as said, not that gaming realy requires it.
Siberia has better cable volume control.

377 are lighter (it doesnt seem that but it is true) than SS.
Best what to do is to put them on. Both if possible, and pick those which you find more comfortable. I was very VERY suprised how comfortable those 377 were when i first put them on.
Imho this should be your main factor of picking one of those. Since you will probably spend countless hours sitting with them on, it is realy important to have that comfort of usage (especialy if you wear glasses which i dont but my friend does and this was one of the main factors when he was picking suggested by me 377).
While i REALY dont like the idea behind microphone on those SS i cant say a bad word on this (yet since it needs long term usage review from a user).

Anyways, I can vouch for that, the mic at the end tends to break off rather easily just from moving it around too much. One day it just flat out died on me not longer then 3 weeks after I bought it.
Just fyi: Siberia earcups are large. I can fit my ear into it, and after 9 hours of gaming there's no discomfort. The mic could be slightly better, but it's good enough for gaming. Never had issues with it breaking off or not working (had three V2's so far).
Even though it's in plastic, it's quite rugged and still works after countless hits to the ground. I also constantly forget I have it on my head, so when I get up to get something I tend to pull the cord. So far no issues.

Dunno about the headset/mic combos of Sennheheiser... but i've got some normal headphones and the HD25-II and the sound quality is really superb... in both low and high end headphones...
