I hope your message will be read by many players !
1 question: Is it ok to say BG if you have an afker and a troll on your team, and no matter how hard you try, you cant win? Then say something along the lines of "BG, we had afker" at the end?
In these cases I usually write "Thanks for game" or something like that. It's quite clear it was not a good game, but still - it was not enemy team's fault.
Still there ARE some nice players, and it's always pleasure to play with them. Sadly, only they will read post called "QQing and game etiquette", flamers won't be interested in this thread.
+1. I'd give you more, if I was able to. Thanks for this guide.
Imagine: You just hit level 30 and don't play with a Ranked Team yet, simply because you don't have one. You play best as Mages, because... let's say you don't have many other characters. And so, you politely call for mid first (My Phrase: "Hey there! ;D I would like to go mid if possible."). Important fact: You are last pick.
Now, there are two possibilities:
1. One of the players above you picks Brand and says "I am mid, sucks to be you."
2. One of the players above you asks politely: "Excuse me, but I really wanna play Ahri. May I?"
Obviously, I will start QQ'ing at the mean Brand (Take that Meaniehead <.<), but will gladly give Ahri my position. So, be nice to me and I will be nice to you!
Of course thumb up, I hope that lots of people will read it.
P.S. I published guide about similar problem, check the link in sig ;)
