i agree with op, i have full mana regen and hate them, used them once and never again. I go with HP or Dodge (Soon to be changed of course). HP for all my AP since really AP is usually squishy. Mana regen is silly since 1 item covers it the gain.

Still good for supports, but I use HP/lvl on my AP casters atm

I still use them on casters like Karthus and Kassadin.

I still use Clarity Seals on most of my casters.

Mostly because I still haven't gotten around to purchasing AP/level seals.

The extra MP regen allows me to be offensive and try to harass my opponent. Of course my ELO isn't super high so my opponents are not hard to harass but then the mana regen definitely helps me(and my range of players) IMO.
