Yi has always been a very fast jungler and good farmer, I don't think that he will be MUCH stronger with the new jungle, maybe a bit better. There are champs with stronger AoE's who will be able to farm more of the jungle faster than Yi, e.g. Malphite, Amumu or Udyr.
Yi's strong AoE is just too unreliable compared to other AoE's.
He will nevertheless be a great champ, just not OP.

what? counter jungling still works.
they pulled some of the gold/xp gain from the weaker minions (red wraiths for example) and put it into blue wraith along with giving it a buff.
if you go and just take the big one you can counter jungle effectively (one of the 2 golems was made a lil bigger and more powerful than the other as well.)

the jungle change will definitely be a buff. Not because he'll be stronger in the jungle, but he'll have more opportunities to farm.
Right now, yi is only okay at jungling. The reason he primarily jungles is because it gives him a safe place to farm, since he can't solo top well. Now that the farming ability is buffed in the jungle, yi will be able to sit in the jungle, farm all day, and come out stronger than he could before.
