Thank you SO much for an AP Nidalee guide without any AD BS and that doesn't have any ranked stuff in it. I hardly do ranked and it's a bit frustrating that all the top guides are for it. Also, I really like your item build order. :) Great, overall and I love the tips you have and all! <3

Nice guide. Doesnt matter that I dont agree on everything you say but you argue very well for your decisions and then people can make up their own mind for the rest. IMO the most thorough Nidalee guide on Moba atm. +1

Hey.

I really like this guide.
Have played like 10 games on my Nidalee with it, and i'm almost always one of the best in the game. :)

But i have a question.
Should'nt the ability order in Cat Form be W - E - Q? Cause Q deals more dmg the lower hp the foe has. I know its not much dmg, but its still some free dmg. I would like too know what you think about that.

^ a huge troll. Irks me a good bit.
I do like what I see so far. I would also recommend adding more to your 'core build' or 'cheat sheet' of items. Not for my sake or anything dumb like that, but purely because people will troll downvote your build a ton if you don't, despite the well written guide portions.

Anyhow, on to the core of my input.
So over the last little while, i've been playing largely support, and I main Nidalee. She definitely works for support, but you can't build her AP support very easily. It does work, but it's unreliable, and if you don't get assists... or kills... you'll be pretty worthless late game. She can, however, support very effectively, but the playstyle and item layout is very different. Instead of going a standard heavy AP laning build, I build her as a hybrid-ish zoning support, sometimes tanky, or sometimes built to back-door. This allows me to transition for mid game, into either a utility bruiser, or a back-door champion. I grab armor pen marks (yes, armor pen), armor seals, magic resist per level glyphs, and flat AD quints for support. I pop in and out of the bushes, harassing with my auto attacks, and get as few levels in heal as I can get away with. The mentality is... basically deny farming by putting pressure... and if I can get away with it, grab spears to put even more pressure. Because i'm nidalee, they'll have a very difficult time catching me, even if i'm out of position, given my passive. For items, I usually rush a philo-stone for sustain and gp10, and if i'm doing well, build a sheen next. sheen + level 6 = dead enemy lane. from here, i'll usually grab basic boots, a Heart of Gold, mercury treads, and then either go a rage-blade trinity build, or go trinity tank, with an aura or two. It's a completely different playstyle from solo top or mid nidalee, but it's definitely viable, and I would recommend giving it a try if you feel up for a rewarding challenge. Something to consider at least. I wish you luck on the guide!
