I think I will combine the 3rd and 4th. The items are slightly different and it is a different focus. More AD early and a little less tanky. The main tank build is more pure tank with a little AD added in at the very end.

Yea Atmas became a core item later on. Wriggles and Merc Treads are core. Probably need to discuss that a little somewhere... thought I did.

I have been looking at the counters section and probably will rewrite some of it to make it more... concise.

Been working on things for a while. Still have more to do. Will try to work on it some more this weekend.

Hey I saw your request for a review on wayne's and grandmaster's shop. I taugh I could give you a little of my mind for now. That way you may improve your guide even further before they review it.

What caught my eye:

-The information you give is very complete.

-You mention bugs, and not fictional ones but real ones that many players have seen(unlike some people who invent fake bugs, like when they say that Alpha Strike makes master yi untargetable).

-I am always happy to see none support buy 5GP10 items.

-The combo route map is well.... first time I saw one like that. thumbs up.

What could be improved?

-Remove the 3rd and the 4th cheat sheet. they aren't different enough from the others.

-It is clear to me that Wriggle, merc and atma are your main items but you don't mention it anywere (unless I missed it).

-Your counter-counter section is very impressive but it could be so much better. You could make it easier to read. I suggest bigger images of the counter and alphabitissing it.

Updated my jungle build and jungle section. Tweaked a few things. Got a "safe" and quick jungle path that I am comfortable with. And the build transitions well into the late game. The new jungle has definitely added a new dimension to the game and imo made Jarvan a pretty strong jungler. With the solo top option still viable but there are MANY better options for that ( Fizz, Shyvana, etc etc) then the jungle becomes the playground of choice if you have someone who is wanting to play a strong solo top.

Thanks for the response. The guide has served me pretty well in Dominion so far, definitely a thumbs up.

I honestly haven't used him in dominion. But I would build him the same except I might add a Sunfire Aegis to help with the point defense. I have found that champions that survive do best in dominion. And him built as a DPS Tank should be very effective.

I play Jarvan a lot in Dominion and base my build off your guide here. I have actually found him quite effective in Dominion (unless LeBlanc is around), but was curious if you would build any differently for that game mode?

Yea I need to update a few things and that is one of them. Fizz can escape as well. I have yet to face a Shyvanna as Jarvan but in general I stay back and run forward to last hit... back and forth so that I am not in one spot for too long. That is what I have always done to similar champs (like Mundo). And at times (if you have it warded) you can even swap positions with them (they are behind your creeps and you are behind theirs)...

Nice guide. One tip for your "counters to cataclysm": Shyvana can escape your ult with her own ult. By the way, do you have any tips for when going solo top against Shyvana? Her flame circle ability seems really annoying to face. Thanks for the guide!

I worked on my mastery setup some at work. I should be posting it soon. But for J4 I am thinking that 0/21/9 will work very well and I intend to try it out first.

sheesh. i will have to finish readin wen i get home from work. so far it seems pretty gud. ben comparin it wit a few of the other guids... not exacly how i hav been playin ja4 but it seems worth lookin into.
